Headquarter Production Site of Danfoss Group, Nordborg

Industrial site achieved net zero emissions

In 2022, the 250,000 m² Nordborg factory site reached carbon neutrality. See how it works.

Danfoss is one of the largest industrial companies in Denmark, engineering solutions that increase machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption and enable electrification.

In 2022, the 250,000 m² Nordborg factory site reached carbon neutrality (in scope 1 and 2, that are emissions from purchased energy and from sources owned or controlled by Danfoss) and provides a roadmap for decarbonization of factory sites all over the world.

My Services

I proceeded (within a team of engineers) an energy audit for the entire production site with several production halls. This included the heat, power and cooling supply, HVAC-Systems, control systems, building automation, cooling plants, electrical drives, compressed air systems, and the lighting system.
