In 2022, the 250,000 m² Nordborg factory site reached carbon neutrality. See how it works.
Danfoss, one of Denmark’s largest industrial companies, develops solutions that improve machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption, and enable electrification.
In 2022, the company’s 250,000 m² Nordborg factory site achieved carbon neutrality in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, serving as a global roadmap for decarbonizing industrial sites.
As part of an expert engineering team, we conducted a comprehensive EN 16247 energy audit for the entire production site, covering multiple production halls. The scope included heat, power, and cooling supply, solar thermal generation, HVAC systems, control systems, building automation, cooling plants, electrical drives, compressed air systems, and the lighting infrastructure.
