ESCO BOT Modeli nedir?
ESCO (Energy Service Company) modeli, enerji verimliliği veya yenilenebilir enerji projelerinin tasarımını, finansmanını, kurulumunu ve işletmesini üstlenen özel hizmet şirketlerini ifade eder.
BOT (Build–Operate–Transfer) modeli ise bir tesisin özel bir şirket tarafından inşa edilip (Build) belirli bir süre boyunca işletilmesi (Operate) ve daha sonra sahibine devredilmesi (Transfer) esasına dayanır.
ESCO BOT modeli, bu iki yaklaşımı birleştirir:
ESCO şirketi enerji tesisini kurar (örneğin güneş enerjisi sistemi, kojenerasyon, enerji verimliliği uygulamaları),
belirlenen süre boyunca işletir ve yatırım maliyetini geri kazanır,
ardından sistemi müşteriye veya kamu kurumuna devreder.
